Following the opening of a boutique on New Bond Street last year, this year Panerai launched the first London special edition watch, the LuminorMarina 44mm 8-day power reserve titanium watch, which is only available in this boutique , Limited to 100 pieces.
The case is made of titanium and brushed and finished with a diameter of 44 mm. Continuing the brand’s usual simple design, the black dial with beige Super-LumiNova fluorescence, the small second hand is set at 9 o’clock, and the iconic torpedo relief is decorated above the 6 o’clock position, reminiscent of the origin of the brand.
It is powered by the P.5000 manual winding movement, which is entirely manufactured by the Panerai Neuchatel watch factory and can provide up to 8 days of power reserve. The bottom of the watch is engraved with two of London’s most iconic landmarks: the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Below the engraving, the word ‘London’ is marked in bold letters.
Since its introduction in 1993, LuminorMarina has become one of the most successful collections in the history of Panerai, inspired by the historical models created by the brand for the Italian Navy.
