At the beginning of the business of cultured pearls, at the age of 19, he lived in LaChaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland, and acted as an agent for a specialized watch manufacturer.

劳 Rolex moved back to Geneva after the First World War. Driven by the founder, Rolex continued to innovate, create and improve itself. It has two research directions: waterproof and automatic.
In 1926, the first waterproof and dust-proof watch finally came out. This was the famous ‘Oyster’ watch. The economic crisis of 1929 hit Switzerland, but Rolex was not affected. It invented an automatic refining mechanism during this period, creating a ‘Perpetual’ watch that became popular all the time.

Andre Heiniger carried forward that Rolex can enjoy the reputation of today’s world table, which is inseparable from the inspiration and enthusiasm of Andre J. Heiniger. Heinig was born in Raschaffen in 1921. When Hans Wilsdorf first met him, he had full trust and sincere respect for him.
Both of them love to contact people and pursue perfection. Wilsdorf invited Heinig to join Rolex in 1948. He spent six years in Buenos Aires, where he was responsible for developing the South American market. He returned to Geneva in 1955 and was promoted to the role of Rolex’s board of directors. He replaced Wilsdorf as general manager of Rolex since 1964.
He faithfully inherited the role of the founder of Rolex, continuously improved quality and technological innovation, and brought a new breath to the company: internationalization. The first step in this decision was to move the company’s headquarters from the city center to a beautiful new building in the suburbs. Then, Heinig started his expedition, traveling all over the world to open up new markets. He had amazing predictability and decided to establish branches in major cities on all continents, which was a pioneering initiative at the time. Heinig also established the Rolex Entrepreneurship Award during his tenure, which is awarded every three years and rewards those who have made outstanding contributions in applied science, innovation, research, scientific discovery and environmental protection. Rolex is currently managed by Patrick Heiniger. Patrick Heiniger grew up in Rolex’s ‘family’ and loves the company’s tradition. He served as a lawyer for Rolex for ten years and was later Appointed as business manager, general manager, etc.
The expansion project planned by Rolex World Headquarters began in the 1960s and was completed in 1995. This is a sign of more than 80 years of creation, innovation, and progress, and a sign that matches the entrepreneurial spirit that its leaders value.
